Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the SivakasiMarket marketplace, mobile app and BuizOS services.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, phone number and email; saved addresses and optional location coordinates; selected products, quantities, estimate requests, enquiries and support communications. Separate business services may hold order, invoice and operational records entered into BuizOS. Basic device and security data may be processed to prevent abuse and operate the service. A fireworks enquiry is not an online purchase.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, display catalogues, send your estimate request or enquiry to the selected shop, enable its direct response, provide support and prevent fraud. We also operate separate BuizOS and other enabled services and meet legal obligations. We do not collect fireworks product payments through the enquiry service.
Device-only business drafts
If you choose Save draft on this device in the mobile Sales composer, customer details, notes and product references are stored locally, not as a server invoice. Android and iOS use secure device storage; the web preview uses browser storage. Signing out does not automatically delete a draft. Discard it from Sales when no longer needed and use only a trusted device. Starting submission replaces saved draft details with a request reference for recovery. Do not clear storage while a sales request is unresolved.
Device permissions
The mobile app requests optional permissions when you use a feature that needs them. Foreground location can show nearby shops and services or share a driver's position during an active assignment. In builds with Move background sharing enabled, a driver can separately consent and grant background location permission to share GPS with the authorised transport office for an active assignment while the app is in the background. This is not enabled by submitting a marketplace enquiry. Stop sharing in Driver Jobs or withdraw location permission in device settings; background sharing uses a time-limited assignment grant. Camera is used for barcode scanning and photos that you explicitly capture or choose for a product, store, chat or delivery-proof feature. Barcode scanning analyses frames on your device; scan frames are not uploaded or recorded. Chosen photos may be uploaded for the relevant action. Photo access is used when you attach a product, store or chat image. Notifications deliver order, message and business alerts. Files you select for CSV import or PDF attachment are read only after you choose them. You can withdraw any permission at any time in your device settings; features that need that permission will be unavailable.
Sharing
Submitting an enquiry shares the contact details, address or optional coordinates, product selection and message you provide with the selected shop so it can contact you directly. Platform staff and service providers may process this information to operate, secure and support the service. This is not permission for unrelated marketing; promotional permission must be obtained separately and may be withdrawn. The shop is responsible for its own subsequent use of information and offline transaction records. Contact the shop or support about unwanted contact or deletion requests. SivakasiMarket does not sell personal information.
Private shop verification evidence
Shop owners may submit evidence for identity, authority, business registration, licence, address, contact or physical-premises checks. Aadhaar is not compulsory; use an accepted alternative or a masked copy and provide only what is necessary. Do not include full Aadhaar/PAN numbers in notes, passwords or OTPs. Verification files are encrypted separately from public catalogue photos and restricted to authorised owners and administrators. Public profiles show only check results, completion counts and review/expiry dates, not identity documents, private notes or reviewer identities. A paid subscription does not grant verification, and completed checks are not a safety or purchase guarantee. Owners can withdraw evidence in Business → Shop Verification; withdrawal revokes public credit and file access and requests deletion of active evidence. Displayed evidence-retention dates limit download access. Minimal review/audit records and protected backups may remain for security, disputes and applicable retention duties; contact support for access or deletion requests. Changing relevant shop details or reaching an expiry requires fresh review.
Payments
No fireworks product payment is collected through our enquiry service. Payments for a separate business subscription or other enabled service may use a payment provider. The platform may hold transaction references, payment status and evidence supplied for those separate services or reported offline activity; these records do not prove a fireworks sale or bank settlement. Do not include passwords, OTPs or full card/banking credentials in an enquiry or support message.
Shop referral attribution
Opening a shop referral link stores signed first-party cookies for up to 30 days. We count at most one browser visit per link per UTC day, not unique people, and associate eligible submitted enquiries or orders with that shop's referrer. Shop-specific attribution and marketplace attribution remain separate. The shop can record its payment receipt, and the purchasing account or original guest browser can confirm or dispute it. Referrers see limited purchase/reward statuses and amounts, not customer names, phone numbers, browser identifiers or purchase payment evidence. Clearing cookies removes browser attribution and access to guest confirmation; it does not erase retained financial/audit records. Recorded payments are not automatic bank verification or money transfers.
Basic anonymous website page counts
When site analytics is enabled, public page views are counted in the background unless a previous analytics opt-out is saved or your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The browser sends only a fixed page label without cookies; counts are combined by minute and page label. These records contain no names, contact details, IP addresses, cookies, visitor or session identifiers, full URLs, query strings, typed searches or GPS. Routine connection information may be processed separately for security and abuse prevention, not stored in these page-count records. These totals measure page views, not unique people or concurrent visitors. No detailed signed analytics session is created by default. Admin, BuizOS, private account pages and local desktop mode are excluded. Basic totals are subject to scheduled 30-day cleanup and cannot be linked to an individual for deletion. Counting starts only when this feature is active; it does not reconstruct or backfill previous visits. The website does not display analytics prompts, buttons or preference panels. To stop future website analytics, enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser; shopping is unaffected.
Optional detailed website analytics
Browsers with a previously saved explicit analytics opt-in may continue to share fixed public page labels, published product/category references, cart actions and server-confirmed enquiry/checkout submissions under a random signed browser session. New visitors use basic anonymous counts only and are not opted in to detailed collection automatically. Previous explicit opt-outs remain off. We do not record names, contact details, typed searches, raw URLs, form contents, visitor IP addresses or GPS in this analytics dataset. Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity; raw analytics is subject to scheduled deletion after 30 days. A saved opt-out, Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control stops detailed collection and requests deletion of the current signed session; network failures can delay deletion. Clearing site storage resets the preference to basic counts only, not detailed consent, but does not itself erase previously retained server or provider data. If configured, only explicitly opted-in limited events are sent to Google Analytics with advertising use denied; already-sent Google data follows that property's retention/deletion controls and is not erased by local session deletion. Microsoft Clarity session recordings are not enabled. Contact support for privacy/deletion requests, including external provider data.
Retention and security
We use signed sessions, access controls and device-secure token storage. Account deletion disables sign-in, clears direct account contact fields and removes saved addresses and shop ratings. It does not automatically erase product reviews, enquiries, seller-held contacts, device-only drafts or all operational and audit records. Contact support to request review of remaining personal data. Retention for tax, accounting, safety, fraud prevention and disputes may limit deletion; seller-held copies require a separate request to the seller.
Your rights
You can edit your profile, remove saved addresses and request account deletion in the app or through support@sivakasimarket.com. Contact support for access, correction, deletion or privacy complaints, or help withdrawing optional permissions. We may verify ownership before acting. Deletion does not recall a request already received by a shop or cancel a separate offline agreement. Our account deletion page explains what the self-service action removes and retains.
